Terms of Use

The rules for using this site — in plain language.

What you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and where our free tools fit in.

  1. 01Who we are

This website (dlegal.co.za) is run by Dynamic Legal Services (Pty) Ltd ("Dynamic Legal", "we", "us"), a South African company that helps owners sell their businesses.

You can reach us at support@dlegal.co.za or 087 153 6207. Our offices are:

    • Pretoria: 406 Vista Drive, Faerie Glen, 0081
    • Sandton: 96 Rivonia Road, Dennehof, Sandton, 2196
    • Cape Town: 3 Dock Road, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, 8002
  2. 02Agreeing to these terms

By using this website, its tools or its forms, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and our Policies. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

You must be 18 or older, and if you use the site for a business, you confirm you're allowed to act for that business.

  3. 03Our free tools are a guide, not advice

The free valuation and the Buyer-Ready Score give you an indicative picture based only on what you type in. They use general market patterns, not a full review of your business.

They are not a formal valuation, an audit, or financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Please don't rely on them alone to make a decision, set a price or sign anything. A buyer may value your business very differently.

  4. 04No client relationship until we both sign

Using a tool, sending an application, emailing or calling us does not make you our client and doesn't commit either of us to anything.

We only act for you once we've both signed a written engagement letter. That letter — not this website — sets out exactly what we'll do, what it costs and how either side can end it.

  5. 05The information you give us

Please make sure what you share is true, accurate and yours to share. Results are only as good as the information put in.

Don't send us anything confidential belonging to someone else unless you have permission to do so.

  6. 06Using the site fairly

    Please don't:

    • send false, misleading or someone else's information
    • try to break, overload or get around the site's security
    • scrape, copy or harvest content or data using automated tools
    • upload viruses or harmful code
    • use the site for anything unlawful, including fraud or money laundering
  7. 07Our content and brand

The text, design, tools, calculations, logos and the "Dynamic Legal" and "Buyer-Ready Score" names belong to Dynamic Legal Services (Pty) Ltd or are used with permission.

You're welcome to read the site and share links to it. Please don't copy, adapt, resell or republish it without our written permission.

  8. 09Availability and changes to the site

We work hard to keep the site accurate, safe and online, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or free of viruses. We may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time.

  9. 10Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, the website and its tools are provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss or damage — direct or indirect — that comes from using the site, being unable to use it, or relying on its tools or content without a signed engagement with us.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law says cannot be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

  10. 11Indemnity

If you break these terms or use the site unlawfully, and that causes someone to claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we suffer as a result.

  11. 12Electronic communications

These terms are concluded electronically under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002. Emails and online forms count as being "in writing". A message from you is received when it reaches our systems in a form we can read.

  12. 13Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If we disagree about something, we'll first try to sort it out in good faith. If that doesn't work, the South African courts will decide.

  13. 14General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to do so later. We may update these terms; the latest version always lives on this page, and using the site after a change means you accept it.

  14. 15Contact

Questions about these terms? Email support@dlegal.co.za or call 087 153 6207.
