    you built.

We help South African business owners sell their businesses confidentially to a closed group of private investors we know personally. We handle the financials, negotiations and legal process, keeping you informed from the first conversation to the final handover.

R45,000 engagement fee + 3% when the transaction closes. No hourly billing.

Everything you share is confidential from the first click. Your identity is only revealed once all parties have signed a strict NDA.

    How we work

Five things you can hold us to.

    Fixed fees. Always.

R45,000 engagement fee to start, and 3% of the transaction value when the deal closes. That is it. No hourly bills, no retainers, no surprises.

    A closed group of buyers

We work with a small group of private investors we know personally. Your business is never listed publicly — we approach the right buyer directly.

    Confidentiality is paramount

Your identity is not revealed until every party has signed a strict non-disclosure agreement. Your staff, customers and competitors never find out from us.

Your staff and legacy are safe

Our buyers do not sell businesses off in pieces. Your staff are taken care of and the legacy you spent years building is preserved.

    We handle the entire process

We work through your financials, advise on how to improve value before the sale, and navigate every complexity. You are kept up to speed, always, in clear and simple language.

Three or more years of profitable trading, with financials that can be verified.

    The business sale process

From valuation to closing, in four steps.

    1. Step 1 · Days 1 to 5

      Valuation and confidential review

We review your numbers, prepare an indicative valuation and agree the written mandate.

    2. Step 2 · Weeks 2 to 3

      Confidential information memorandum

We prepare a blind profile of the business. Your name and location stay hidden.

    3. Step 3 · Weeks 4 to 8

      Direct buyer introductions

Suitable private investors are introduced only after they have signed an NDA.

    4. Step 4 · Months 2 to 6

      Due diligence, contracts and closing

We draft and negotiate the sale agreement and manage closing. The 3% is payable only when the deal closes.

Timelines are indicative. Due diligence, financing and approvals affect the final timing. See the full process

    No public listings

Your business is never advertised on classifieds or public broker portals.

    Blind profiles

Buyers first see the numbers and the model, without names or locations.

    Legal confidentiality

Strict confidentiality agreements are signed before any detailed information is shared.

    M&A advisors, not business brokers

    We are not business brokers.

A broker lists your business and hopes someone calls. We are with you every step of the way, under confidentiality, through to closing.

    Questions

    Straight answers before you apply.

What does it cost to sell my business through Dynamic Legal?

R45,000 as a once-off engagement fee, and 3% of the transaction value when the deal closes. That is the entire fee structure — no hourly billing, no monthly retainers.

    Who will buy my business?

We work with a closed group of private investors we know personally. We do not list your business publicly or shop it around — we approach the right buyers directly, under NDA.

Will my staff and my legacy be protected?

Yes. Our buyers do not buy businesses to break them up and sell the pieces. Staff are taken care of and the legacy you built is preserved — that is a condition of how we place businesses.

    Is my information kept confidential?

Completely. Your identity and your business details are not revealed to anyone until all parties have signed a strict non-disclosure agreement.

How long does a business sale take in South Africa?

Typically three to six months, depending on how ready the business is, buyer financing, due diligence and any approvals required. We do not promise a guaranteed completion date.

Do I pay the 3% if my business does not sell?

No. The 3% of transaction value is payable only when the deal actually closes. The engagement fee is the only amount payable upfront.

What is the difference between a share sale and an asset sale?

In a share sale the buyer acquires the company itself, including its history and liabilities. In an asset sale the buyer acquires selected assets and the business operations. Tax, liability and contract transfer differ, and we advise on the right structure for your sale.

    Which areas do you cover?

We serve business owners in all nine provinces, including Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Meetings are held at our Pretoria or Sandton offices, or online.
